Dear Friends,

We know this is a challenging time as communities are dealing with the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 situation. The safety of Ford’s Colony residents, visitors and staff is our primary concern, and we are practicing and encouraging social distancing whenever possible.

If you are considering or have planned an upcoming visit to Ford’s Colony, we want to update you about the following precautions that are in place.

  • Our FCHOA Community Services building is closed, with operations being conducted remotely and on property to mindfully support the safety and wellbeing of all.
  • The Swim & Tennis Club, Westbury Park Pool & Tennis Court buildings, exercise studio, sports courts and playgrounds remain closed in compliance of the Virginia Governor’s Executive Order of March 30, 2020.  All FCHOA club events and activities have been cancelled or postponed until further notice.
  • The Ford’s Colony Country Club is open for golf, with players practicing social distancing (e.g., one player per cart, check-in at tee). Club restaurants have adopted enhanced sanitation procedures, cancelled on-site dining and made takeout services available for Club members from the Colony Dining Room as well as Murdoch’s, which also serves non-members. All other Club events and activities have been suspended.
  • Marriott’s Manor Club at Ford’s Colony is open with limited access, amenities and services. For more information and updates, please visit their website.

Given these circumstances, at this time we have suspended the Ford’s Colony Country Club Private Tours and Free Golf offer. We plan to reassess this fluid situation in the coming weeks. If you have booked a tour and wish to reschedule, or if you’re considering a late summer or fall visit, please check back for updates or contact us.

In the meantime, we invite you take a virtual tour of Ford’s Colony and view the website to learn more about our beautiful community.

May you and your loved ones be healthy and remain resilient as we all continue to navigate these challenging times. We hope to see you soon.
